Rutherford Regional Hosting Free Lunch & Learn on Wound Care

Community members are invited to learn about wound prevention, treatment options, and when to seek specialized care during a free Lunch and Learn led by wound care provider Julie Thorn, AGNP-C.

Rutherford Regional Health System invites community members to a free Lunch and Learn on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Rutherford Regional Medical Center’s Norris-Biggs Conference Room, located at 288 South Ridgecrest Avenue in Rutherfordton.

Join Julie Thorn, AGNP-C, for an informative session on wound care, including the causes of slow-healing wounds, prevention tips, and the latest treatment options available close to home. Attendees will learn when to seek specialized care, how proper wound management supports overall health, and ways caregivers and family members can help loved ones heal safely and effectively.
