
Rutherford Regional Health System is inviting all children ages 3-12 across Rutherford and Polk Counties to participate in the 2023 Healthy HeART Project.
In honor of American Heart Month, observed in February, and Rutherford Regional's growing cardiology services, the Healthy HeART Project allows local children to learn about keeping their heart healthy and share their creativity in the process.
Submissions:
How to participate:
- Save the blank Healthy HeART Project sheet below
- Have your child or children draw a picture that represents a healthy heart or heart-healthy lifestyle
- Ex: Heart healthy foods, heart healthy exercise, heart-related healthcare
- See below resources for heart healthy education for children
- Include your child's first name and age on their artwork submission
- Submit a copy of your child's art via email to tiffany.fields@rutherfordregional.com or drop off your physical submission at Rutherford Regional Health System, 288 S. Ridgecrest Street, in the designated box at the main lobby entrance
- Please include your parent, guardian, or teacher contact information along with the submissions
- For large submissions from classes or groups, contact Tiffany Fields at tiffany.fields@rutherfordregional.com to arrange pickup
- Deadline to submit art is Friday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m.
- Art will be featured online, on RRHS social media channels, and in person at RRHS locations throughout the month of February
- Special prizes will be given to the top art pieces in age groups 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
