The OR will update you every hour after the first time as best as possible. If the surgery is shorter than one hour, you'll only receive one (1) phone call.

During this time, your family member will be in the Recovery Room for 20 minutes to an hour.

If your family member is to be admitted, please wait in the Surgery Waiting Area until a room has been assigned. Once your family member has been taken to their room, then you may visit them and take them their belongings.
After leaving the Recovery Room, your family member will come back to their Outpatient Room in which they started. Once they are comfortable, the Outpatient Nurse will page you back to their room.
If there are any delays prior to your family member being taken to the OR Holding Area, the Outpatient Nurses will do their best to keep you and your family member updated. Thank you for understanding in advance.
