Charles D. Bond. M.D.
Dr. Bond graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio.  He completed his internship in surgery at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California; and flight surgery training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida.  Dr. Bond completed his residency at the Orthopedic Surgery Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California.

Dr. Bond is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. Bond cares for patients with complex hand, wrist and upper extremity problems.  During his tenure at NMCSD, Dr. Bond cared for patients and complex hand, wrist and upper extremity problems, as well as participating in resident teaching and research.  He has experience in wrist, elbow and shoulder arthroscopy, microvascular surgery, hand and wrist reconstruction, nerve and tendon injuries, rheumatoid arthritis and complex fractures.  Dr. Bond is well trained in all aspects of orthopedic surgery, and his experience in sports medicine, arthroscopy trauma, joint replacement and pediatric orthopedics in addition to hand surgery.

Michael W. Roberts, M.D. 
Dr. Roberts went to medical at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California.  He completed his internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and his residency at the Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California.

Dr. Roberts is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Roberts' extensive experience allows him to perform significant operations with minimal incisions and rapid recovery.  Although he is well trained in all aspects of orthopedic surgery, he has extensive training and experience in caring for the injured athlete.  He spent over four years taking care of U.S. Marines at Camp Lejeune, NC.  While there he had a tremendous amount of experience in both operative and non-operative care of sports medicine injuries.  He has performed over 1,000 arthroscopic surgical procedures, including arthroscopic assisted reconstruction to the knee and shoulder.  He specializes in the surgical treatment of disorders of the knee.

Jason P. Glover, D.P.M.
A native of Ohio, Dr. Glover completed his medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in the top 5% of his class. He completed his foot and ankle surgery residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Glover is one of the few podiatric surgeons to complete an advanced fellowship in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Glover is very active in research in the field of foot and ankle surgery. He has presented at state and national meetings and his research is published in highly regarded professional journals. His research has included surgical treatment of bunion deformities, fractures involving the foot and ankle, and award-winning research involving surgical reconstruction of flatfoot deformity. Dr. Glover is also a review editor of Foot and Ankle Specialist as well as the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Glover is Board Qualified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Reconstruction.

Brian Pienkos, MD comes to Rutherford Orthopaedics after serving as chief of orthopedic surgery at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, KY. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Prior to that, he earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.

He also holds a bachelor’s degree in science from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Additionally, he holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army and served as an orthopedic surgeon with both the 240th Forward Surgical Team in Iraq and the 541st Forward Surgical Team in Afghanistan.

Dr. Pienkos is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He also is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons.
