Rutherford Regional Hosts Healthy Generations Expo on October 17

Information and Clinics To Be Featured at OneSource Rehabilitation in Forest City

RUTHERFORDTON – Rutherford Regional Health System (RRHS) will host its “Healthy Generations Expo” on Saturday, October 17, in its OneSource Rehabilitation facility in Forest City, which is beside Belk at the Tri-City Mall. The event is free, open to the public of all ages and will be held from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The Healthy Generations Expo is an event to showcase the offerings available through the OneSource Rehab building in Forest City, NC.  Through the variety of services offered, the needs of individuals from birth to 100 and beyond can be met.  There are programs available to persons of any age and most ability levels. 

Whether the need is in the home where the home health staff and alternative programs staff are able to bring expertise, or whether the person is able to come into the outpatient setting for rehabilitative needs, OneSource has many options to help. 

There are exercise programs, walking programs, pool classes, massage therapy, biofeedback and incontinence programs, and lymphedema therapies just to name a few of the services in the outpatient clinic. The Cancer Resource Center, located within the OneSource facility, also will be open during the Expo for those who are going through a cancer journey, or who have a relationship with a loved one battling cancer.

For runners or those with foot and ankle pain a podiatry and run clinic that features Dr. Jason Glover of Rutherford Orthopaedics.
